If sweating excessive amounts is making you feel down, you will be delighted to know there are innumerable natural ways to stop sweating.
Prior to listing the methods that can relieve problems with your sweat, you have to be made aware that sweating is a fundamental process and you should not eliminate sweating entirely. Sweating is your body’s temperature control function. Your sweat glands yield perspiration which is brought to the skin’s surface when your temperature increases. As the perspiration evaporates, it helps cool the skin to a normal temperature. Without sweat, the body will start to overheat, causing dangerous medical issues, even death.
That being said, everybody knows that sweating can be unpleasant and uncomfortable, both for ourselves and for the people around us. It is not going to cost you the earth to sort the problem out. There are various effortless, low-cost, natural ways to stop sweating excessive amounts.
The most apparent way to stop sweating naturally is to elude those situations that provoke you to sweat: Forsake vigorous exercise, spicy foods and high temperatures. However, this avoidance isn’t always possible.
Be sure to drink plenty of cold water to keep your body temperature down. Water is readily available and inexpensive. By drinking no less than eight 8 oz glasses throughout the day, you’ll keep your body nice and cool. Try to stay in shady, cool areas also.
Another natural method to stop sweating is to shower often, even several times a day if is required. Use a loofah sponge, which on the whole does a better job of scrubbing away bacteria that promotes body odor. Make sure you especially scrub your toes, your groin and your armpits. These are all places where bacteria flourish, which is why these parts are so susceptible to body odor.
There are several natural deodorants that you can use when you put your clothes on. You can make your own by mixing equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water with tiny amounts of rose water and alum (both are readily available at drug and grocery stores.) Or, you can try using a small amount of cornstarch or talcum powder. These can be less irritating than the preferred antiperspirant/deodorants that comprise aluminum chloride or aluminum chlorohydrate. Visit a health food store for other natural antiperspirants.
If your face is prone to sweating, try keeping a tiny spray bottle of witch hazel available, along with a small supply of cotton balls. Spray the witch hazel on one of these cotton ball and gently brush it over the face for quick relief.
Natural methods to stop sweating are very simple to use and inexpensive. You needn’t have to break the bank to stop breaking your sweat.
