Fish Oil Purified by Molecular Distillation

As the popularity of omega3 complex nutrients continues to grow, so has the concern by many health experts over high levels of known hazardous contaminants present in cold water fish and, logically, fish oil supplements.  The FDA warns pregnant women to limit their intake of fresh fish because of high concentrations of heavy metals such as mercury and lead.  Of course, this warning also applies to supplements.

A recent test of fish oil supplements by consumerlab.com rated dozens of different brands on different criteria such as concentration of both DHA and EPA, and how well the product may be absorbed.  One of the most interesting findings in the review is that every one of the products tested was found to be free of mercury, PCBs and other contaminants commonly found in fish.  The only way to achieve this is through molecular distillation and purification.  Make sure your omega 3 fish oil supplement is molecular distilled to remove residual heavy metals so you can be confident you are supplementing your health without contaminating your body.
